Boreholes
We are experts in the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of borehole water supplies. Examples of the services we provide include, but are not limited to: borehole drilling, borehole reinstatement and iron fouling resolution, hydrogeological surveys, environmental monitoring and camera assessments, annual inspections, test pumping, system design and installation, and ongoing contract maintenance.
Pipework Installation
Does your project require trenching, moling or above ground pipe work? We can design, supply, and install a cost-effective solution for water, steam, or process purposes. Our engineers are EUSR registered (Electrofusion Welding and on the Water Hygiene Scheme), and CSCS accredited.
Water Pressure
We design and install systems to store or directly pump mains or borehole water, to overcome any issues with pressure or poor supply, and carry out system surveys on existing installations to advise on improvements. Our skilled engineers are fully qualified including Confined Spaces training and JIB pump engineer accreditation.
Water Leaks & Minor Work

Irrigation
Irrigation is many faceted: From the storage (lagoon or reservoir) to the supply (stream, rainwater, borehole, or mains), to the pumping (electric, diesel, submersible, or pontoon mounted), through to delivery (sprayer, hose reel or boom). Washdown Areas & Water Troughs
Wessex Pumps has a detailed understanding of what is required to work around horses and livestock. We organise works around the schedules of both agricultural and equestrian premises and work in a responsible manner to create a safe environment. We design and install hot and cold washdown areas, drinking water supplies in stables or fields, and sprayer fast fill points, to name a few. Our service can include all related groundworks and civils.
Water Treatment & Filtration Systems
Wessex Pumps specialises in the installation of water treatment and filtration equipment for many different and unique sites from farms, private dwellings, and industrial sites.
Following a site survey and water analysis, we can identify your property’s individual requirements and offer the best filtration system to ensure you meet with the 2016 Private Water Supplies Regulations. Once installed we can maintain your system on an annual basis to ensure water quality is met in the future.
We stock spares for many kinds of water softeners, iron removal and nitrate removal plants, and Fleck and Clack backwash heads, along with filtration equipment. We carry many types of Filter Media, including Pyrolox, Juraperie (PH Media), Sand, Gravel, Salt, and other resins.
